A few weeks ago, we ran a competition on Twitter asking for the best ways people find #10MinutesOfCalm. It was great to see so many responses, and reassuring to know there are quick ways of relaxing for even the busiest of people!
We’ve put together some of our favourite ways to unwind – whether you’re a teacher on your summer holidays, or a parent in need of respite after a solid week of looking after your kids, we’re sure you’ll find something for you.
- Meditation app Headspace brands itself as a gym for your mind. All it takes is 10 minutes a day of your time to help improve your mindfulness.
- Treat yourself – whether it’s a day at a luxury spa or a homemade face mask, take the time to indulge and give yourself that glow
- Create a playlist filled with your favourite chillout songs
- Go for a walk – you might find areas of natural beauty are just a stone’s throw from your home
