Thanks to the people who make it possible

In our digitally-driven global world, Nicola and I firmly believe it’s still local collaborations that make the biggest difference. So after winning the Bath Life Award for Technology and Innovation last night, it’s time to do what we didn’t have time to when stood on the podium – thank all our local partners past and present who have made not just this possible, but also the success we have had at the Bett Awards, Education Resource Awards, The Duke of York’s Pitch@Palace Awards, the Sparkies and the KPMG Best Mobile Start-Up Awards in the last year. So here’s to our local partners:

SETsquared (www.setsquared.co.uk) – we’re proud to be part of the Global #1 University Accelerator right here in Bath – any local start-up would be wise to apply to benefit from the mentoring and expertise they provide.

BluefuseSystems (www.bluefusesystems.com) – very clever web guys – these digital trailblazers have helped us architect a lot of the really clever stuff that sits on the server crunching the data provided by the millions of questions answered every month.

Gradino Agency (www.gradino.co.uk) – talk to Katharine Agg who has helped us massively with everything from video production to targeted email campaigns over the last year – a huge talent.

Tomology Design (www.tomologydesign.com) – Tom Knights has a great eye for design and built our first website incredibly quickly – and made it look beautiful too.

Search Star (www.search-star.co.uk) – fellow deserved Bath Life Award winners and without doubt the best PPC agency in the South West.

Alison Edgar (www.alisonedgar.com) – sales training extraordinaire.

Deep Blue Sky (www.deepbluesky.com) – top-notch digital consultancy from these guys over the past 12 months has helped turn our piece of software into a business – here’s to you Katie D-H and Adam P.

Veale Wasbrough Vizards (www.vwv.co.uk) – a law firm that genuinely supports start-ups.

Go Get Organised Finance (www.gogetorganisedfinance.co.uk) – amazing team of Bath-based bookkeepers and accountants led by Emma D’Aubyn who’ve allowed us to focus on growing the business and are ever-so-patient with our bags of receipts.

Anna Hancock (www.annahancock.com) – graphic designer and children’s illustrator who has brought DoodleMaths to life with her beautiful pets and robots – we love you Anna!

Of course, our own amazing team: Rob, Becky, Ian, Laura, Nancy, Sarah-Jane, Dimitrios and Georgiana. Bath is full of talent.
