Tell the Time: Five and Ten Minutes Past

When the time is ‘five past’, it is 5 minutes after the hour and the long hand (minute hand) points to the 1.

When it is ‘ten past’, it is 10 minutes after the hour and the long hand (minute hand) points to the 2.

For ten and five past, the short hand (hour hand) points just after the hour.

Example 2 => The time is five minutes past 6 (Or 6 =>05)

Example 3 => The time is five minutes past 7 (Or 7 =>05)

Example 4 => The time is ten minutes past 5 (Or 5 =>10)
