Sequences – rules in words
Introduced in the Year 6 curriculum as: "Generate and describe linear number sequences"
We can describe a sequence in words.
To do this we need to say two things:
1) what the first term is and
2) how to get to the next term.
The rule in words for this sequence is: 'Start on 5 {black
The rule in words for this sequence is: 'Start on 3, then double each time.'
