Experience the power of individualised and innovative technology

Behind well-written content and an engaging interactive interface is our true power: in-built intelligence which recreates the decision-making process of a teacher working on a one-to-one basis. DoodleMaths continually assesses a child’s strengths and weaknesses against every age-related expectation (AREs) in the national curriculum, identifying gaps in their knowledge and assigning work that is just at the right level. We call this intelligence Proxima™.

DoodleMaths utilises touch-screen technology in innovative ways: we’ve developed immersive, hands-on questions that allow a child to ‘weigh’ items, split words into syllables, trace letters, measure items with a ruler, and use a protractor, manipulating them with their fingers almost as they would in the real world.

Raising confidence and attainment for every pupil

As educators, we know how fragile children’s confidence can be – especially when it comes to maths – and so content is very carefully selected to both guarantee progression and address weaker areas, whilst still ensuring a suitable degree of success.

A key feature of DoodleMaths is that it rewards effort over ability. Children compete against their own standards, not each other, meaning every child has the opportunity to experience success – not just the most able. This growth mindset approach, rewarding effort over ability, keeps every user engaged.

Measurable impact and results for your school

We understand the power of the data we collect and analyse, so as well as using it to design a child’s learning programme, we present it to every class teacher via the Teacher Dashboard. Our data captures rich information, showing teachers how each child in a class understands the curriculum, and the development of knowledge and progress across the maths curriculum whilst using DoodleMaths.

“DoodleMaths has made our remote provision so much richer and less stressful for us as teachers, knowing that every child has access to an individual programme of learning across numeracy and literacy. The children are benefiting daily!”

Julie, Teacher, Carrick Primary School, May 2020

“We believe that DoodleMaths has been instrumental in raising attainment in our school. Children are motivated in their learning and are excited to share what they’ve been working on in DoodleMaths.”

Marilyn, Mathematics Lead, Albert Primary, December 2019
